New Player Guide

Over the years, I've been asked by a lot of new players if I have any tips for them when it comes to getting started in New World: Aeternum.
So I decided to put together this page, with several new player guides I've made since I started on Youtube, in the order I recommend a new player watches them, to best prepare themselves for the journey ahead.
Step 1: Account Roadmap

This is a video I put out, giving you an overview of what it is you should be working towards in New World as a new player, on your journey towards mid-game, and eventually end-game.
Use this as kind of a roadmap for your account, with the next videos intended to help you reach your goals.
Step 2: Get To Level Cap & Get A Mount

This video's sole purpose is to give you tips and tricks, to speed up your journey to level cap in New World.
Getting to level cap is the first big step towards the end-game grind in the game.
As soon as possible, after you hit level 20, you'll also want to pick up your first mount, which is free.
This will speed up questing significantly going forward, especially if you max out your riding skill.
Here's a video going over how to unlock your mount, and level up your riding skill, to help you do so.
Step 3: Max Out Your Weapons

This video will show you some of the best places in New World where you can go, to max out your weapons of choice, in as little time as possible.
Getting your weapons to max level, will significantly improve the damage you're putting out in your build.
Step 4: Start Making Some Coins

Once you have your build in mind, you're going to start needing some coins to be able to purchase certain items in New World, that's where this guide comes in.
This will show you how to make some decent coin at a lower level, with some of the more higher end coin making methods coming a bit later on in the guide, once your account is more fleshed out.
Step 5: Pick Your Artifacts

As you're hitting level cap, and have an idea what build you want to run, you're going to need some artifacts to compliment said build, so you have to go look at what's out there.
Firstly, if you're completely new to the Artifact system in New World: Aeternum, you can check out this video guide going over all things Artifacts, to get you up to speed.
Or, if you already know which artifact you want, or what kind of artifact you're after, you can use the Artifact List page.
This page will show you a small image of each artifact, sorted by their type, that will link you to another page dedicated to said artifact, giving you more information about it, and showing you how to acquire it.
Click on the button below to be re-directed to the Artifact List page.
Then, you have this playlist you can check out.
In the following videos, you'll get a look at every artifact that's currently in New World, and be shown how to get them.
They are sorted by which season they are released in, and new videos will be added as more artifacts get released.
Or, if you're looking for a more in-depth look at each artifact, you can check out the Artifact Hunter series.
In this series, I will go after every artifact in New World with a fresh account, talk a bit about each artifact, show you how to get them, and let you know how long each one took me to acquire.
Click on the button below to be taken over to the series page.
Step 6: High End Money Makers

Once you you've been playing for a while, and your character has some good trade skill levels, you can start focusing on making money, to finance everything you need for your build.
Luckily for you, there's countless options when it comes to making coins in New World.
I've made tons of guides related to this topic over the years, so I will summarize it to the best of my abilities here.
For starters, there's a video I put together with my favorite money makers you can check out, to initially give you an idea of what you could be doing to make coins.
Or, click the gold guides button below it, to be taken over to the gold making guides page.
From there, you can see all of the guides I've made related to making gold, sorted into categories.
